But seriously - using twitter as a way to spam links to your pyramid schemes is an insult to twitter and to marketing in general. The creative opportunities available as a marketing person and the creative potential of these kinds of tools (as you so aptly call them) are infinite at this point, and where there may be one dead end, you wind up having a brilliant idea for a start up. So marketing itself isn't a soul sucking, creatively empty void that so many marketers seem to think it is (at least, they certainly BEHAVE that way).
Ugh, I've been ranting about marketers and pyramid schemes for too long on twitter. People seem to have thought, "hey, I'm a talentless hack. What would be a great career path for me? AHA! Marketing!"
Bzzt. Wrong.
Like I said, no matter how good the police force, people will still commit crimes, be them felonies or social indiscretions.
